I bought 2 pumps because of the high horsepower, stroke and 1.6hp motor power. and low price. This is a very powerful pump that I use to create a waterfall in my carp pond. I hope the durability will match its performance. My first pump got stuck after 4-5 months. Now I use the second pump. I hope this lasts at least 2-3 years. Because I love this particular pump so much I bought 2 more pumps. The cost of these 4 pumps is comparable to the cost of a well known brand name pump which can also last 2 to 3 years. I hope durability isn't an issue as its performance is truly exceptional. The time will show. I will update this review as needed to provide long-term performance results.
