Smart retrofit kit – hardly more difficult than changing a light bulb! Added bonus: The Torchstar design noticeably reduces air leakage around the existing lantern. The color takes some getting used to, but it's perfectly acceptable: bright and slightly warm. As already mentioned, if there are less than 4 lamps in the circuit, the standard dimmer will cause the lamps to flicker. So look for a more compatible dimmer with less power. I changed 10 in the kitchen, it's a lot brighter than the old halogens! Great value for money and looking forward to my electricity bill next month!
