I like that it scans just about everything and gives you a detailed report on what to watch out for. Its documentation could be much better, and not as much as a nagging reminder when something's wrong. But I think its main strength is that it does go through everything and tell you where there are problems. Nothing so far. The ability to scan any kind of file and give you lots of warnings is awesome. We got a list of things we need to look into and fix before our application goes live. I like that it's able to find more errors than other static analyzers. The fact that you don't need to install or use plugins makes it easy to integrate into your IDE. Also, it's free and open source. There are some false positives, but there's nothing too serious. If you're looking for an easy-to-use static analysis tool, then this is the one to go with. We've been using it for several years now, and haven't found any major issues.
