Instead of keeping a giant Pyrex in the fridge all summer that requires straining my hands to get a cold drink, I've opted for something less bulky. I've already made two pans and this is how I feel. Cons: NOT sealed. If I knock it over while putting it in the fridge and taking it out, there will be some spillage. I'm a fool. This will happen - The filter does not come out at the top. To get the filter you need to disassemble everything. It would be much easier/simpler if you could lift the filter basket from the top without unscrewing it all the way - gasket won't stay in place. Be careful, this thing may pop out when you clean it, collect it, or just look at it. Pros: - Perfect for the fridge - Easy to clean - Glass - Makes a hard hitting cold drink! I fill my grinder a little over 3/4 full and that helps. If you like a lot of ice cream, fill it to the top. You definitely need something to get them. Read the instructions. They're a little light, but useful. My husband's extensive chopstick collection, which I always threaten to throw out, came in handy. You definitely need something to stir the filter. Update: Customer service is fantastic! I emailed with a question, they responded quickly and were very helpful.
