Review on πŸ” Bosch P3898WS / F00E369115 Cabin Air Filter - Premium Workshop Upgrade for Pontiac Vibe, Scion iM, Subaru Legacy, Subaru Outback, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Matrix, & Toyota Sequoia by John Castle

It could have been better, but it's good value for what you (possibly) pay.

later Another reviewer (Briandru I think) noted that this filter has fewer pleats than others (28 vs 35) meaning there is less surface area to trap particles. I agree with him. It's also not as strong as the one I replaced it with 2 replacements ago. It's a lot cheaper and does the job. It filters out airborne particles in the cabin (which probably includes dander and hair particles from my backpack, which I often travel with). I would like to note that the price has doubled from the first purchase to the second and then has come down to this day when I reordered, so I recommend checking a few times before needing it and ordering it if it's in the price range with a single digit, not the bottom 2 digits. So you can buy about twice as much. I use a label printer to mark the date and mileage on the edge of the filter when I change it. So when the mechanics tell me it needs to be replaced urgently, I can see that it's true. This was last changed on May 1st, 2019, so it is "only" 4 1/2 months old. Not long, but I've ridden about 8,000 miles, including some dusty rides.
