I needed to upgrade my USB charger to USB-C and wanted something other than boring black, so I ordered a gold braided cable. It's more of a rose beige than gold, but many Revain electronic products (like Kindle cases and other items) are similarly "gold" and I was happy with the color. I like the braided line, it's durable and folds well. And I like the little strap that wraps around the cord when I tuck it away. It's some kind of magic Velcro - I don't feel anything hard on it, but it's very strong. It's fine, but it doesn't get scratched when I throw it in my bag or next to other electronics. A little note if it's important to you. The braided cable is slightly thicker than normal plastic cables. I actually find that a plus, but for those trying to feed this through a small area, it's something to consider.
