Sorry for the contradiction. I couldn't get my jaws together on the smallest tube. I didn't notice and when I screwed the big nut onto the die it ended up stripping the threads on the die. I even tried hitting the die cams with a hammer, but I couldn't get them together enough to unthread the cap nut all the way. Also, the part that fits into the brake pipe was bent when tightened because it fell off to the side when tightened. If you can't hold the pipe upright, you have to be very careful with the small insert. I know I'm supposed to like a wimp, but I'm a seasoned handyman and good with my tools. It might be a good tool with that know-how, but I'll be damned if I know how to close the jaws to get the outer nut all the way to the bottom of the die. I'm sure there are worse tools out there, but I'm also sure there are better ones and I don't think it's worth the money.
