I've used much more expensive oils (like Sunday Riley and Drunken Elephant) but nothing beats this. Moisturizes the skin well but not too much. I would say this is the average thickness/heaviness. I can see a difference if I skip it for a few days, my skin starts to peel and crack. I usually only use it at night, if I feel I need it during the day I mix it with a foundation (e.g. 4-5 drops). It's not that it's bad under makeup, but I like wet foundations and they can quickly get oily on my face when used to their full potential. For the record, I have dry, acne-prone skin.
