Everything is fine. I bought it to mount a flashlight as Joby no longer makes Blade flashlight which I really liked. I was disappointed because the legs here are much shorter and non-magnetic. The flashlight clamp is not very tight, so it moves a little. It could be better. I didn't like the design of the smartphone holder. Overall, the $25 kit just didn't feel like value for money. I found that if you pull hard enough you can spread your legs, so I was able to swap out the legs on this device with magnetic legs. from my old Joby Blade flashlight and I'm very happy with it now but again it seems like a waste of money although I plan on using a 1/4" camera mount as well.
