real skin?

Advertised as a leather pencil but looks like vinyl on the outside or as my friends joked real 'leather' which is a mix of plastic and leather. The inside is definitely suede and it's pretty nice. This roll is for makeup brushes due to the size of the pockets. I wanted this item as a general purpose tool roll for wax molding tools but I don't think it will hold up to the wear and tear on the tool heads. I'm just disappointed with the quality and description of the product.
