4 days and it works perfectly.

Used on my late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina. Model No. A1502. Originally shipped with a 256GB Apple branded SSD. The storage was starting to no longer cut it down for my needs, and buying a higher-capacity, plug-and-play replacement (e.g., an OWC 480GB Aura Pro X SSD for MacBook Pro (Retina, Late 2013 through Mid 2015)) for $300 just wasn't the way to go. Budget. Luckily I stumbled across this adapter, read the reviews and pulled the trigger. I then connected it to a Samsung 970 EVO 500GB SSD - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 (MZ-V7E500BW). The total cost was $135 after taxes and the meager bonus points I had. Not only was I able to double my storage space, but I also doubled my read/write speeds AND saved $165 in the process. was the quickest and painless. The only problem I had was that the internet connection didn't work initially. The WLAN card was recognized and I was able to connect to my router. There was just no internet connection. So on a whim I restarted my Mac about 2-3 times until it could access the internet. So far, so good.
