Review on ๐Ÿงผ Ettore 12-Inch ProGrip Window Squeegee: Streak-Free Cleaning with Silicone Rubber by Shay Badger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best squeegee used by professional window cleaners

If you ask a professional window cleaner what squeegee they use, it's usually the Etorre company (at least in California where they are based). ). Two unique features are the composition of the rubber and the shape of the buckle. Etorre is a small company based near Oakland, California that has been making them for many years. They have a proprietary rubber formula that offers the perfect combination of flexibility and stiffness. When you use the Etorre it feels like the rubber is sucking with the glass. Most cheap mops have a hard rubber that leaves streaks and drips on the glass. Have you ever seen how a professional window cleaner perfectly cleans water in one go? This is because he uses Etorre. Another unique feature is that if you look at the blade from the end you will see that the metal clasp is bent back (not straight) which allows the rubber blade to bend back when you push and scrape across the glass. It's an obvious improvement, but all the cheap mops I've seen (like the ones at the gas station) don't fold back, so the rubber scratches the glass. I learned about Etorre when the San Francisco Chronicle ran an article about a local business. This story had reviews from professional window cleaners and the article even generated enthusiastic responses from other users. I've been using it every day in the shower for over 10 years and finally gave up to get this one although the old one still works fine. This version is a lightweight consumer version with a plastic handle and is made in China. The old Pro version I had was made in the USA from brass.
