This cable will not help you.

I doubted the ratings and ignored the comments. But again, they're not just there. Unfortunately, this cable does not recognize your device on the computer. In fact, this cable is generally useless, too bad. I've tried various ways of installing drivers, software and even updating my computer (my 2017 model laptops) and nothing. Sorry guys, this won't help you to connect your camcorder to your computer.
