Product arrived earlier than expected which was a plus. The product is well made and fits my Sony HD camera, but it didn't help me sync the camcorder to my iMac. Therefore 3 stars.

This cable turned off my Macbook Pro as soon as I plugged it into the USB port. At first I thought the problem wasn't with the cable, but as soon as I fixed my computer I connected the cable and my computer turned off again. I had to disconnect my computer's battery to restart my computer every time to fix this.

I doubted the ratings and ignored the comments. But again, they're not just there. Unfortunately, this cable does not recognize your device on the computer. In fact, this cable is generally useless, too bad. I've tried various ways of installing drivers, software and even updating my computer (my 2017 model laptops) and nothing. Sorry guys, this won't help you to connect your camcorder to your computer.
