I've had them for two seasons now. I was impressed from the start because being able to chat with other riders is a huge plus when riding. Now that I've had them for a while some things have become more painful and I'm considering replacing them. Here are some thoughts after almost 2 seasons of use. The connector for charging and connecting to the helmet's headphones is not suitable. It only fits one way, and if it's not aligned, it takes multiple attempts to connect to charge. or a helmet. The socket that the plug fits doesn't provide much guidance for learning how to align the plug on each cable, let alone align the socket with the plug. I would like to point out that this is not a common connector type. Also, if you lose the cable, you cannot connect it with another cable from another object, e.g. B. a phone charge. At maximum volume on my phone and device, it's almost loud enough to use around 45 mph. Forget using it at high speed to listen to a podcast. For music it might be normal due to the familiarity with lyrics and melody, but I enjoy listening to books and podcasts. Therefore the sound is not loud enough. - Pairing with each other (I have two of them) had to be done every time I started them. It's a pain, and while it's not hard, it's not easy either. In addition, the display is difficult to read on a sunny day. - The battery life is less than 4 hours. and probably closer to 3, maybe 3.5.- A few times they knocked units off their helmets. I'm not sure how it happens, but it happened. UNLESS you're using a communicator (ie it's not attached to a helmet) there's no way to attach a mouth and headphone cover. Someone should have thought of that and created a "breakpoint" on the helmet mount to secure the cable when not connected. Functionally, there is no audio announcement of where you are when wearing a helmet. and try to navigate through different menus. IE: Am I connected to my intercom, phone or music? If this is going to be your first intercom to see if you like it, that's a lot. BUT once you understand how convenient and complementary to your ride such a device can be, you should buy a better com first. I hope this helps someone and if you are interested in purchasing a used set please email me.
