This box was perfect for my scenario. Flat tv mount for my 65" tv with about 1" of space behind the tv. The concrete block is only a few inches away from the drywall. Standard outlet to the outside. In this box, the socket is recessed and turned parallel to the wall, which allows you to connect the power cord without protruding. I bought a surge protector outlet for an additional $20 to replace the entire outlet. It should provide additional surge protection for the TV. Installation was very easy. The box is wide as others have said but if you install it in the right spot any size TV will cover it. I used the extra space to stash the extra length of extension cord as a solution to a huge cord box power supply that would cover both outlets if connected directly.
