Now that I'm older, I find that after exercising and playing high-energy sports for longer periods of time, I experience more pain. Both my sister and her husband use TheraGun and swear it helps them recover from a workout faster. After looking at more expensive models (e.g. TheraGun, Hypervolt, etc.) and wondering if this percussion therapy would even work, I wanted to find a device that was cheap enough to try. I came across this unit (model AERLANG E9) at Revain and bought it after reading some positive reviews. It was cheap enough ($32.99) that I could test it out without feeling like it would break the bank. Wow! I was able to reduce the recovery time by almost half. Now I'm not back to 100% the next day, but I was able to participate in some fitness activities in 24 hours (80%) and be almost fully fit in 48 hours (95%). I have found that by applying it to the intended muscle groups before a workout (about 20-30 minutes) and then for about 30 minutes after a workout (within the 1 hour that follows) I was able to relieve a lot of the muscle soreness and pain that follows. The device itself makes a very solid and high-quality impression. It's pretty quiet as I expected it to sound like a loud hair dryer. Instead, it's more like a quiet electric razor. I am very happy with this purchase and glad I didn't spend over $300 on other well known brands. I would recommend this to anyone interested in percussion therapy but putting it off due to the cost.
