Review on 🍚 Japanese Ceramic Microwave Porridge Bowl for Brightening by Mike Larkin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A large soup or rice bowl, not big enough for ramen, but comes with a lid and can be reheated in the microwave.

I have ramen bowls but this works really well for soups and warm cereals. Not sure why the lid fits so loosely, maybe it's a way to have it vented in the microwave without special venting. I have a tight fitting cut that sometimes comes loose at the top when the contents suddenly boil. There is enough clearance that even if he jumped he would still land correctly and close the hole. My only problem is to be careful when taking it off as it can slip off if the incline is too much. This isn't usually a problem when they're full, as you'll want to keep the level up, but caution is advised when they're empty. Very well made and shaped but a little flimsy I suspect if I drop this on a hard surface it could be the end but I am careful not to drop anything. Be careful if there are children or elderly people in your home who may drop things. Very inexpensive, which is probably why it doesn't have very thick walls. It can be useful as a soup container or as a decoration if you like things with an oriental theme. highlighted.
