I grew up with covers on old chairs and those covers would slip, misplace, slide everywhere when someone sat on them and the chairs always looked untidy. inherited two armchairs upholstered in gold with birds and leaves in the late 1970s. Not on par with the Brady Bunch's finest outrages, but rather unappealing by today's (or even 1985's) standards. I decided to give this modern case a chance to erase the downfall of this 1970s look. And it happened! Finished (after about 15 minutes) the stool looks sharp and the cover does not slip off. Just follow the directions, make sure things are symmetrical, and iron out the creases. The result: the beautification of what was a crime against interior design and the universe at large.
