This almost solid red tie in a glossy, almost fire engine red hue accentuates a black, grey, blue or navy suit like no other color (at least not for everyone). There is a small diagonal stripe pattern but it is of the same color material so it is barely noticeable from a distance but very attractive up close. The tie is sewn well enough to make more complex and challenging knots, giving peace of mind to folks like me who prefer the Eldridge knot.
