Review on Speaker Grill Cloth Fabric Repair by Michael Crossman

Short Review: I've bought this speaker grille cloth twice, used it on four full grilles and one air filter and they all turned out great. This material is very high quality and is a bit thicker than what comes with most speakers, but I prefer this thickness as it feels more solid and durable. It is acoustically transparent but optically opaque. In one instance I even used it as an AC return pre-filter of sorts, as the media room design required that the return airflow had to be routed directly through the open center section of the user's built-in media center and the airflow caused directly on several gaming systems excessive dust accumulation. To remedy this, this speaker mesh fabric was mounted on a frame and attached with magnets to the front of the media center's open area. This completely eliminated dust problems; This made it easier to quickly remove dust from speaker grille fabric before it got into gaming systems, but added minimal airflow restrictions for AC return. Also, alongside the gaming systems, behind the fabric air filter with speaker grille, there are also accented LED indicators that visually indicate when certain multimedia devices, housed in a separate dedicated media cabinet, are powered on and you can only see the gaming systems. Backlight and accent LEDs through the fabric of the speaker grille when on and completely hidden when everything is off.
