I bought these as bottoms for my Halloween costume and I think the photo looked like it had more coverage and just slits but no, it definitely sees through . Be prepared, everything fits well, but the bodice is larger than the skirt. The skirt also fell just below my belly button, which I didn't like at first, but eventually got used to it.
