Review on Altec Lansing NanoPods Truly Wireless Earbuds With Charging Case Headphones in Earbud Headphones by Teri Cantu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not bad for $20: Headphones

Due to some complaints in the reviews I was apprehensive about getting these but decided to give it a try after many good experiences with Altec Lansing in the past. The sound quality is pretty good. respectable. Sync issues are only apparent with rock/alternative music, but nothing unbearable. If you were just using them to listen to really hard rock music at a fast tempo, I'd probably ditch them. Otherwise they sound great. Initially, like others, I had problems with the lights on the front of the charger not lighting up when plugged in. But after playing around I realized it wasn't a block or cable but the energy it was receiving. I connected it to the keyboard's USB port. Nothing. A slot on a USB hub that plugs into the wall. Nada. Slot right next to it and POWER! I plugged my smartwatch into the port I was having trouble with and it charged, which tells me these nanopods are very picky about how much power they get. I will make a disclaimer that I only received them today.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
