Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Kitsure 2-Layer Stainless Steel Dish Drying Rack - Efficient Drainboard Set for Kitchen Counter, Large Dish Strainer with Easy Installation and Multipurpose Design by Richard Eledge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly good! Holds a ton.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 small children) and there is no dishwasher in our home. Needless to say, we cook a lot of meals every day. It never ends. Before purchasing this dryer we used several different dryer racks, all standard single tier, and never liked any of them. This dryer is surprisingly good. What you've read in the reviews about it being durable and holding a ton of cymbals of all sizes is very true. I can start loading all of our dishes onto the top tier and there isn't the slightest concern about strength. A lot of times I just put our blender glass on top and that's perfectly fine. You don't have to fold it in any special way to keep it firmly installed, just load it the way you want it. In that sense, however, the second level forces you to step up your Tetris game a bit, and you have to think about how and when to stack things to make them fit most effectively. I usually start with simple shaped items on the top level and then place larger items like pots and pans, cutting boards, baking pans, extra mugs, etc. at the bottom. We lost a plate because I had already loaded the top items and was trying to find something clumsy underneath and it knocked out the plate and broke it. This has only happened once so far and it was entirely my fault, but it's just something to think about when taking that stance. My point is that it is durable and can hold utensils along with chopping boards, pots, pans and glasses. All at the same time. This is by far one of the best kitchen purchases we've ever made considering how many meals we cook each day. I have two complaints. Our largest dinner plates fold on the top tier, but after three plates they tilt so much that I don't feel comfortable putting more plates on top because they don't sit on their own except for the very first one. a plate that you put at the very end of the rack. The smaller plates stand well and the bowls tilt as expected, but the larger plates are a bit odd. If we were a large family or our kids were older I would have to evaluate the best method for stacking large plates - they might be better at the bottom if you need to dry a lot of things at once. 2. The drain at the bottom of the dish rack is leaking, so a small puddle of water always collects underneath. It's easy to wipe dry as there's plenty of space between the bottom of the dish rack and the countertop (which is so great, btw - much better than the ones that sit directly on the table and accidentally get in excess water that collects). around it), but it's still a bummer and I wish it wouldn't leak. Overall 10/10 would recommend hand washing all your dishes. This is a game changer.
