They are even more beautiful in real life. They are heavy, so be careful when filling them with food (especially large ones). I don't know if they are really durable and chip resistant as I haven't used them yet but it looks like they will. I can already tell that the largest one is great for lasagna, while the medium and small ones are becoming favorites for grilled veggies, side dishes, and desserts. Many thanks to the company for the really great packaging to ensure they arrive intact.
