When I order something online I want to receive it, use it and say WOW. THAT'S COOL! But here it was not so. I would never advise anyone not to buy this. This is a purely personal decision. It just wasn't for me. Hence the very modest 3 stars. If you are looking for shiatsu rubs this is not it. It just vibrates. It's really good, I'll give it to him. The remote control is nice and easy to use. There are several programs that give different vibration sequences. You can choose a program that runs through all sequences, or you can specify the type you want. In that respect it deserves 5 stars. The heat is so-so, which can actually be a good thing if you're not looking for a severe heat wave. I live in Arizona. I don't need more heat. lol. I don't care about reviews that say DO NOT BUY. I would never say that unless it really is a terrible product. I see value in this massage pillow and the price is very reasonable. I am a senior living on a fixed income. I can't spend money on things that just don't work. But overall a good product, just not for me.
