Review on Foldable Stainless Steel Big Dog Stretcher: Noiseless Rubber Wheel Pet Transport Trolley by Tonya Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product needs some work but worth every penny!

For me folding is simply not necessary for this product as it is difficult to assemble and use which limits the ability to use both sides of the stretcher . With no creases, you can use the no-net side for quick grabs when the dog is under anesthesia and won't move or fall without placing it over the buckles/net. And folding it up doesn't make storage any easier. That being said, it's great for transporting a 126-pound Rotty from the vet clinic to the car from car to home without too much trouble. However, we still use it to carry her up and down stairs as her surgery (until she heals) left her somewhat immobile. The net and straps don't come off as you have to put the dog on the net/straps or leave them hanging which we think is a trip hazard when attempting to carry a k-9 patient. If you could use both sides of the stretcher this problem could be eliminated by having the mesh tied at the front and transferring the patient to the 'floor' which is impossible as the hinges would collapse on the dog. This thing is almost perfect but the loops need to be removed. I'll change that once I get to Home Depot. Hope this helps everyone. - Proud pet owner!
