These are exceptional quality pins. Stroke width, boldness and color saturation exceed all expectations. Bought the 05 and 08. I prefer the thinner 05s for writing and the heavier 08s for artwork. I ran some tests and the ink survived immersion in water, but it smudges when hitting ink of a different color. I use them quite extensively as my work involves a lot of writing and my hobby is drawing. Surprisingly the pen managed to avoid complete destruction after I left one in the washing machine. All the ink was collected in the cap and not a single drop splashed onto my clothes. Amazingly, the pen was still able to write afterwards. Unfortunately, the grips have a slight durability issue. The seam where the metal tip joins the plastic body isn't strong at all, and I've had a handle that broke to the point where it was unusable. I'm not cruel with these pens, the worst thing I do is bang them on the table when I'm bored. Judging by other reviewers, this is an ongoing problem. It starts leaking all the time, but luckily it stays under the lid. The ink itself seems to dry pretty quickly, but I'm not sure if it's just because of how often I use it, or if it's a problem with that particular pen. I definitely wish they lasted a little longer. The numbers above that talk about color and size are also erased too quickly. I thought it was a great feature, but after just a week none of my pens have retained their marks. I also had a little problem with colored pencils. Many colors are far from what is shown on the plastic caps. Pink looks like it's a soft, comfortable color, but it's actually an aggressive, almost fuchsia hue. Red, green and blue pens were fine. I would avoid other colors. Therefore, you will find it hard to find better pens than this one for drawing, sketching and writing. Especially in this price range. However, the physical design leaves a lot to be desired.
