I had previously given a bad review on this product, but the seller contacted me with suggestions. When I plugged my phone's audio into the aux port in my car to hear it through my car speakers, I always got a horrible "click, pop, pop" hiss. Apparently you need to remember to connect the audio cable BEFORE turning on the car or anything. Then there is no noise. This does not apply to my other shorter audio cable that my passengers use. But this long cable requires special care. My cell phone hangs to the left of the steering wheel and is attached to the windshield with a suction cup. In my 2007 Honda CR-V, the extra audio jack is in the storage compartment between the two front seats. A cable length of at least 2.4 m is required to connect the phone. Difficult to find such a cable longer than 6 feet. This works with the right care.
