Put this on my 2018 F150 SCREW 5.0 V8 with the resonator removed and it sounds very smooth. I would call it a family exhaust. Not hoarse and almost no rumbling in the cockpit. I was spinning a newly purchased Flowmaster 40 series with a horrible cockpit rumble and very hoarse noise. If you don't like a very loud exhaust, then this is your muffler. It's not loud when you press the gas pedal either. The 304SS construction will likely outlast your truck or SUV. Update: 7/21/20 This muffler still sounds great but has definitely gotten louder. It now has a few raspy tones and will turn heads if you step on it, but still not obnoxious. I notice the noise in the cab a lot more now, especially when towing/under heavy loads. Another great muffler and good sound. I estimate it's at least 25% louder than when installed. Thought I'd let everyone know and update later.
