I have to admit I don't understand lip scrubs. I've bought several different types and am at a loss as to how they're supposed to do anything other than annoy me. From what I could tell, they all appear to be sand suspended in lip balms. I don't know how to get what looks like waterproof wax off my lips, and I find it odd walking around with what looks and feels like a mixed media painting on my mouth. The only time I used the product I followed the directions and ended up forcefully wiping things off my lips. I don't think the product did as much to remove dead skin as it did to get the product off my lips. In my defense, this has been my experience with every lip scrub and it definitely tasted better than most. If you're not like me and understand the ins and outs of using a lip scrub, you'll probably like this one more than many of the ones out there. If you're like me and you're hoping that after numerous previous failures you'll find a lip scrub that actually leaves you feeling like you've achieved something in the field of lip repair, I wouldn't go for it. Unless you just want to see what an extra-pleasant vanilla scrub tastes like, mixed with tears of disappointment and the scent of a washcloth.
