There is not much difference between this detergent and washing with water. The armpits of the shirt and underwear remained slightly smelly. The traces of deodorant had not been removed from the armpits of the shirt. Dirt stains from socks were not removed. I have used this detergent on lightly soiled clothes that have been washed after being worn once in a white collar job. Used alternately with a conventional commercial detergent. I will not buy again as I need a detergent that will clean my clothes and remove odors. I like the "green" concept, but the implementation doesn't work.
