They're pretty effective, but not very flattering. Despite the honeycomb mesh, the dark mesh really stands out and leaves a granny haircut. They are also quite tall and are not limited by your hair shape/style. I hoped the honeycomb style would leave a fine mesh that would be barely noticeable, especially on dark hair. Unfortunately it isn't.
