If you notice the capacity and ease of use I give it three stars and here's why. Please note that the iron in the picture has no cord. And it's a perfectly shaped iron, if your iron has a cord that sticks out, is another irregular shape, or has a sloping bottom so the tip is kind of backwards, that's not the way to go. Perfectly hangs an ironing board, hiding behind the door, as it should be. It's perfect. However, my iron still sits in the same place as before because it doesn't sit flush in this rack and actually causes the iron to bang against the back of the wall when I open the door because it has a cord on the side and not perfectly shaped like traditional irons. Every time you push the door against the wall you will feel the iron hitting the wall and the door won't stay fully open. But as said, a great help for lifting the ironing board and getting it out of the way and out of sight!
