Expensive idea. Good introduction to sewing. Poor instructions (just a few pictures) if you care how they come out. I had to rethink how to define the front and where to start and plan ahead and they would go well. Instead I opened them up with my three grandchildren (3,5,7) jumping in. One turned (was not well identified). One started in the wrong place (didn't figure out where to start) so I had to cut the yarn and then sew the other side. The 2 were a hot mess and disappointing for the kids. Luckily there were 6 in the set so we ended up with 3 good ones. I believe the age was listed as 4-8. It seems ideal. The three-year-old needed all my help and attention, but he liked it. At the age of 7 he began to sew well. She did everything herself (except starting from the wrong place). 5 year old needs help. Project great-grandmothers/grandchildren - approx. 1/2-1 hour.
