Review on 🍴 HOMQUEN 6-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Silverware Set by Jeff Drollinger

The gold is tarnishing and the edges are getting sharp

I bought three necessary sets of these to earn a fair amount for my family. They are not very expensive, but after investing in three sets, everything worked out. A razor-thin layer of gold is applied to light, cheap, silver-colored metal utensils that don't feel much better quality and aren't much heavier than plastic utensils. The finish is an odd matte finish that instantly shows smudges and fingerprints to the touch. Some parts immediately started cracking and scratching. Two months after purchase, about half of the items had lost quite a bit of the gold rim, particularly the ends used for food. Now, three months later, almost none of them have any gold left over after eating. To make matters worse, if the gold comes off, the bottom layer will become sharp around the edges! This is especially true for spoons. Not only is this set a rip off, but it is no longer safe to eat.
