ok, the size fits me. If you wear small for GAP/Banana Republic, a medium size (or slightly larger) will do. If you wear GAP/Banana Medium, the medium size may be small. Thus, the average size of this brand is between the size of GAP Small and Medium. I've worn it about 10 times so far and it fits well. I was concerned about fraying and stringing due to sharp edges/velcro fasteners. However, the fabric did not fray or pull threads despite repeated touching.
