I have fair skin but I'm of Eastern European descent. I have hairiness - not much on my legs due to years of waxing. I decided to test 3 weeks of growth and used the epilator on dry skin. Since there isn't a lot of hair on the legs, that's where I started. 1) I had no pain. 2) Because the hair is sparse and thin. I've passed the same place many times. 3) After I finished, my legs were smooth. The epilator didn't catch all the hair, but it's better than shaving. My armpits1) I have never waxed my armpits. There was quite a lot of hair and it was 1/4 inch long. 2) This time I felt the epilator grab my hair. Was it painful? No not at all. 3) Nice and smooth. I haven't tried the bikini line yet and will most likely do so in the shower. So far I'm very happy with the results and so glad I didn't spend too much. Money for Phillips or Braun. Remember that before COVID I used to go to the salon regularly to wax. Maybe that's why I'm used to a certain discomfort, but I'm happy to be smooth. I'm definitely glad I don't shave and don't get razor burn.
