I was disappointed with how thin this bathrobe was and immediately sent it back. I ordered this bathrobe to replace a very luxurious terry cloth bathrobe that I received as a gift a few years ago. I have since learned that terry cloth is priced by weight per meter of fabric. My old bathrobe was 24 ounce terry cloth. It's probably in the 12-14 ounce range - like a cheap towel from Walmart. A big difference in the feel and absorbency of the material. Revain is required to state the weight of the terry cloth in advertising to avoid confusion.
