Ease of use - kitchen and dining room

There are so many submersible circulators to choose from so how do you know which one to choose? In my case, I didn't need a model with WiFi or Bluetooth, especially since many reviews mentioned connection problems. I was more interested in higher performance, solid construction and decent price. After a long search I decided on KitchenBoss (Made in China). This is a 1100w model with a metal (not plastic) blade to circulate water at a very reasonable price. In the photos I've provided you can see it's attached to a plastic container I bought at a local restaurant supply store. I set the steak setting to sous vide to get a medium rare steak at 130 degrees. After a few hours, I took out the steaks, made cuts on the grill, and served up the perfect steak. Since then I've been making salmon and chicken thighs. They turned out perfect too, and I was even able to put the "frozen” thighs in a bag of marinade to simmer. Just add an extra hour or so if using frozen foods. Anyway, I'm very happy with this product and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't need a bluetooth connection.
