A very simple type of product that either works or doesn't work. This hard drive cage works. Usually they always work, but I chose this one because of the price. If I could change anything I would have the cart accommodate a laptop DVD front cover. For aesthetic reasons. I ended up modifying this case using hot glue and the original bezel to make it look better and sit flush with the rest of the laptop. My final suggestion was to shorten the screws that attach the hard drive to the case. When I attached my hard drive, the screws stuck out so long that I couldn't insert the cage into the DVD port. In the end I had to loosen the screws to make everything fit. But the problem can only be with my laptop because all laptops are arranged differently. Just something to be aware of. The activity LED was a nice touch. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend.
