I have used Layrite products before and they liked them. I wanted to try something different and as I read and researched I realized that the other two I wanted to test were BluMaan Meraki and Mr. Pompadour. I bought both and received them at the same time. I'm going for a puffy/sloppy cut so I usually use a blow dryer after my hair is towel dried. Then apply the product and then some hairspray to finish off the hairdo. Several scenarios where I've seen this used as a pre and post style tool. Tried both and to be honest there wasn't much of a difference. BluMaan Meraki is easy and smooth to apply with no lumps or flake-like lumps as others have written. What didn't work for me is that the hold itself didn't last all day as I noticed my hair getting flatter throughout the day. Compared to Mr. Pompadour where the hold lasted all day. Both looked very natural, but since buying and trying both products, I'm leaning more towards Mr. Pompadour and BluMaan, just another behind-the-scenes product.
