Spring. So far, so good. Short ass leads! Huge Twist

TIG Side Let's start with two crimps and two #5, #6 cups, the advertised picture shows three. The TIG trigger is NOT the one posted, this one seems a little cheaper but I have never TIG welded which is the reason I bought this welder. The gas fittings are serrated and have a gas delay. The box feels solid and sturdy, very light. There's nothing more to say about that. Oh there's no amperage/metal thickness manual on the box, it's in a manual which doesn't seem to include this particular model but all the others they sell do. Stick Bought to improve my stick welding, grew up with MIG welding so I want to get better with stick. The wires are short, very short, maybe 3 feet. Is the electrode holder OK? Although it was a little warm at 65 amps 120v it was the same with ground. Burned out 1/8 6011 pretty good I think. I burned a hole in 12ga square tubing that maybe a smaller rod could be used for? I'm still learning. Leads show up positive on the box but still work fine with dcep if I'm right. It appears to be a stretch start, not a hot start. I'll keep updating if I keep this as I'm already thinking of bringing it back for the welder only. The time will show. I'll set a slightly higher amperage and increase the burn time, if it goes well I'll buy longer wires and just leave them as is. 20 days left to impress me. The same day upgrade burned about 1/8th of a 6011 at 240v and it's a heck of a lot better. Much better arc, penetration and better overall.
