Unique to this charger is its Bluetooth connection to the Victron Connect app on your smartphone. It can still be used with a button to select the default charge profiles (14.4 or 14.7 AGM or flooded lead acid with additional recovery phase and 14.2 lithium), but the charge algorithms can be modified and saved as custom files using the app will. It's unusual but works well. 15 amps is a lot for its size and weight, very close to the CTEK 7002 which is a 7 amp charger. The bottom line is that with this charger there is no need to check the charge level of a suspect battery with separate voltmeters or ammeters, as the app offers all this and more. I resuscitated an AGM starter battery that had been dead for a few months; Readings and settings via the app worked well. I have a lot of chargers and this is my new favorite for working with a dead battery - no gauges with me, just a phone with an app.
