I wanted a second ultra racing vest. I currently have a Triwonder Marathoner and love it! The idea is to pick up a fully equipped, sweat-free vest at the medical station in the middle of the race. This should be faster than pulling out of a dropped pouch and reloading. Thought why not for the price and quality I got with the first one. The vest is great and I will definitely buy it again! At 5ft 2in and 120lbs, I used most of the adjustable straps. A little nervous about being one size, but the adjustability is fine for a snug fit with minimal summer and layered winter clothing. More pockets, shapes and sizes for everything you need. A pleasant surprise is how soft the outer seams and moisture-wicking inner material are. I usually prefer to hold things before buying them, but the quality, texture and feel are amazing! Decided to try again. I wasn't a fan before. The longer the run, the less I want to rummage through my backpack looking for new bottles. The bite valve is definitely an improvement over others I've tried. Pull/push the valve bits to turn on/off, and it won't leak! I found I was using my bladder more than bottles. I have used this vest for medium distance runs and am definitely looking forward to wearing it for long runs!
