It's nice to know that this passport cover protects my passport when I go on a long hike. What I was looking for is something very light and the weight is added. I think that's lightweight! Another good thing, the case isn't bulky or hard so I can easily put it in my backpack without taking up much space. On one side of the passport cover there is a fold into which the front cover of the passport slides. It is very easy to remove the pass if necessary. The other side has slots for credit cards or other small cards. This package came with additional passes.
