USB-C port charging with too much current with 12 " MacBook

I travel for a living and wanted a charger to plug into a hotel room and cable to charge for could have all my devices ready to use. In some parts of the world even good hotels may only have one or two branches. And they are often already being used by a lamp etc so a charger like this can be very useful. All in all it lasts Charger that does what it promises: It can charge a 2016 12" MacBook, iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s+, my Nitecore flashlight and my Panasonic shaver at the same time. The problem is twofold: it makes the case VERY hot, and the BIG problem is by the USB-C power delivery port - instead of providing 29W like the Apple charger, it charges at 45W, which I assume draws 15V at 3A.. See attached Photos. This exceeds the charging power and current rating for both the MacBook (29W) and the nameplate on the Anker charger itself, which is said to deliver a maximum of 30W over USB-C. It will be 15V at 2A or 30V at 1A so my MacBook is charging a full amp higher than it should and I don't know if this will damage the MacBook over time. The Apple 29W adapter charges at 14.5V at 2A (according to the rating plate). This could explain the case temperature being too high. I'm not sure how these devices match charging voltage and current, but since I'm using an Apple computer with an Apple 2M USB-C charging cable, the problem must be with the Anker charger. I love their products but I don't want to risk my MacBook. I'm also concerned that this device will fail on the other side of the world leaving me without a charger. Another minor complaint is the size and weight of this device. The photos show another (excellent) Anker 40W 5-port USB charger that I am currently carrying on this unit. I was surprised by the size and weight of this device.
