Soft and gentle on the skin. I use it with a cleanser. Removes most makeup but not all. Doesn't completely remove my liquid eyeliner. To remove makeup residues it is still necessary to use micellar cleansing water. I don't know if it's really chemical free or really microfiber or what materials the components are made of as mine didn't have any tags. Each towel was individually wrapped in clear plastic with no writing on it. Brown packing tape was used to secure four individually wrapped towels together. Basically, don't expect fancy packaging. I wish they had the option of having them in a single color or neutral colors rather than bright colors and it would be nice if they came in the traditional square towels. Haven't seen her at Revain yet. Otherwise a decent product.
