This laptop has all the features I was looking for as I teach at home and shoot videos so I needed an i7 processor and longer battery life. I get about 5 hours of heavy use without a network connection, which is acceptable. Approximately 9 hours of battery life with light usage (no video conferencing, recording or playing videos). I like the larger screen than my previous laptop and it's not too heavy for the larger size - it's easy to carry around. I've read some of the other reviews about first time power on issues, but setup was quick and easy, no problem!
