To be honest this chair wasn't bought for gaming so I can't consider it for that purpose. I bought it to replace an office chair that broke quickly. It had a high back and good reviews, plus it was on sale. And while the instructions warn you not to sit too close to the edge, the chair's design had to be altered to address this issue. Simply crouching in the front of a chair to tie your shoelaces, for example, can quickly sink you to the ground. If you sit too fast and don't reach the center or back of the chair, you may just as quickly find it slipping out from under you, with a similar result. Unfortunately, I also found the chair to be sorely lacking in padding, particularly around the seat. I bought a seat cushion to compensate for the bad comfort there. Finally, the settings are hard to get to, and the reverse-to-forward setting can confuse you if you're not prepared to meet you there. I don't think you should expect more from a Chinese chair, but it's not easy to find a chair made in the USA.
